鸳鸯合气
As early as the Jin dynasty, mandarin ducks were described as birds of loyalty and deep love. Mandarin ducks are never separated from each other. They fly together swim together, touch each other in the wings when perching, and have their necks crossed when sleeping. If a partner dies, the other will stay single the rest of his life. This devotion serves as a perfect illustration of what husband and wife should be like according to traditional Chinese value.
