人物与抽象

今天讲五十年代的人物画相对抽象派的画，战后有一批有影响的抽象派画家，受冷战影响，经济复苏影响，渐离欧洲或是英国，而更接近美国的影响，澳洲有个人主义倾向的抽象派画家，创造神秘，神话，。。。

年年大吉

In the past, leopard tail referred to wages and honor and military art was called leopard strategies. Leopard shares the same pronunciation as announcement and, combined with the happiness sound in magpies, means announcement of happy news. as birds of good luck that bring good news, magpies are darling birds.

秦兵马俑的真相

今天无意中看到一个天大的奇闻，虽然早已发生，我却刚刚知道，原来有专家在质疑秦兵马俑的主人到底是谁。也许因为最近秦兵马俑展在此热火朝天地，观者如潮，可见世人对这些真人大小的兵马俑充满了好奇。

Qin Shihuang's reign

Qin Shihuang was born Ying Zheng in about 259 BC. As the sole king of Qin, Ying Zheng proved to be a tough ruler. He attacked the other warring states surrounding Qin, intent on bringing them all under his rule. One of Qin Shihuang's great reforms was to standardise written language, currency and weights and measures throughout his empire. The man who During his time as emperor, Qin Shihuang was as ruthless as he had been in attaining that title. He quashed any opposition by centralising the administration, forcing the nobility of the other states to move to his capital at Xianyang. He began building a city to match the magnificence of the empire he hoped would last 10,000years. He was also constantly concerned about barbarian invasions, plots and assassination attempts. To keep out the barbarians, he began building a defensive wass, the Great Wall. To foil plotters he executed all who showed the slightest opposition to him or his policies. To avert assassinations he kept a distance between himself and everyone around him, although there were three near-successful attempts to kill him. He also became obsessed with immortality and invited magicians to his court looking for a way to stay alive forever. Despite his efforts he died in 210 BC.

How many times we've been visited to the exhibition of The First Emperor: China's Entombed Warriors? Five times! The great exhibition has attracted a great number of viewers. In the third century BC, China was a patchwork of warring states. From this the ruler of the kingdom of Qin, Ying Zheng, emerged to unify all of the states into one bigger nation. His reign as Qin Shihuang, the first emperor of China, did not last long but had a huge impact, politically and culturally. once an obscure figure in Chinese history, since the discovery of his tomb in the 1970s he has become famous worldwide. Artifacts from the tomb of the emperor are often a huge drawcard at galleries and museums, particularly the army of terracotta warriors that were buried with him.

艺术博物馆巧遇

今天在艺术博物馆里被来自楚地的青铜器给迷住了，竟不知旁边有人在左右打量我，很长时间才反应过来原来是碰到馆里的大人物了，当然这位专家马上要去美国。。。

买书杂记

今天去学校转转，借了两本书，又买了一本书，买书真是成了我的最大嗜好，舍不得买衣服，却舍得买书，这已成了一大习惯，难改了，也不想去改了，因为我买的书都是我看中的，都能给我带来阅读的快感。
